Christmas is near, and with that comes all the hustle and bustle of picking out the perfect gifts, and often spending too much money doing it. Adam and I have gone kind of rogue on Christmas, and really don’t do much gifting, but there is one gift we are sure to get all our loved ones – Christmas cards!
Why Christmas Cards are the Perfect Sentimental Gift
We love sending out a yearly Christmas card for a couple of reasons, first It’s like a time capsule of your family from that year. Secondly, It’s sentimental, especially when you take the time to write individual notes and throw in a few kiddo’s drawings. Lastly, it’s affordable. For just under a dollar to a couple of dollars per card depending on finishes, it really is so much less than anything else you could get. Showing people they are loved on Christmas shouldn’t break the bank.
This year I found Basic Invite, they are one of the best Christmas card websites easily. They have so many beautiful designs ranging from traditional to tropical Christmas cards as well as an array of finishes that make it easy to create something you love! They also have this amazing feature where you can send people a link and have them fill out their information so Basic Invite can use their address and print it on the envelope. I love that it takes out the middle man (you) and makes it as simple as can be!
We just got our yearly Christmas cards in the mail from Basic Invite today and I couldn’t be more pleased. Plus, did I mention they sent us 3 extra cards?!? For someone like me, who already realized I forgot a few friends, this was a perfect surprise.
So, if you’re at a loss for a meaningful Christmas gift for all your family and friends, I highly recommend giving them the gift of knowing you are thinking of them and sweet words this Christmas season.
