Materials:
- Basket (I found a cheap décor wheelbarrow @Michaels)
- Mini fake pumpkins/fall foliage
OPTIONAL:
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Foam (for the bottom of the basket to keep things in place)
- Other decorating materials!
Step 1:
The first step I took was to cut my Styrofoam rectangle to a size that would fit into the bottom of my fall wheelbarrow. After assembling the centerpiece, I realized it wasn’t very necessary (hence why it is optional!).
Step 2:
Then I arranged the fall foliage, lining the bottom of the barrel. I used fake leaves made with wire so it was very easy to adjust and stick into the foam bottom for extra support.
Step 3:
Once the leaves were all spread out, I assembled the pumpkins throughout the foliage. This is where I would encourage using hot glue if you want everything to be fixed in place. I did not use hot glue, that way I can re-use the materials for other crafts!
Step 4:
To complete the look, I left out a couple pumpkins and set my new centerpiece on my dining table! I was very surprised and pleased by the way this project turned out, regarding the cute look, inexpensive materials, and speed to make; I hope you are too!
That’s it!
